Portraiture is face to face. Murals take the wall. Editions leave the bench. Write with the room you need.
Figuration
Narrative figures at museum scale. Clothed or academic figure studies, cinematic crop, the old construction of flesh and ground. Private figure commissions by inquiry.
Murals
Wall-scale work for civic, commercial, and private sites in the South Bay and beyond. Site visit, drawings, and a painted wall that can hold weather and traffic.
Ukiyo-e editions
Traditional woodblock: keyblock, color blocks, baren. Original prints and small editions cut in the studio. LinkedIn lists the working map as the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and Shenyang, China.
Book jackets
Illustration for covers and interiors. Literary images, painted, not assembled. Send the manuscript or the brief.
Studio visits
The Oak Street rooms in Lomita are seen by appointment. Carlos is listed in Torrance. Collectors, sitters, and collaborators. No drop-in hours; write first.
